Octavo; 181pp. Printed dust jacket with original $3.00 price; book in gray cloth-covered boards with black title strip to spine. Jacket toned and smudged along spine and fore-edge with shallow chipping along edges and a few small tears. Boards lightly smudged with some toning along top. A few marginal brackets in pencil throughout, but text is all legible. Binding is sound. Clipping of a 1956 Collier's article by Diebold titled "What is Automation?" laid in at front.
Safire served as Diebold's P.R. adviser while working for Tex McCrary before joining Nixon's campaign.
