Bound in repaired but original calf with red leather title card. Expected wear to edges, some leather rubbed through to boards. Presentation bookplate on front pastedown states: "Presented to the Union Philosophical Society of Dickinson College." Several notes are made in ink and pencil around and on the bookplate. Name of previous owner is written in ink on title page (possibly McElhenny) followed by "U.S. Army." Pages 10 and 11 have some marks on the margins. All other pages are clean and unmarked. Binding is sound.
