New York: Simon and Schuster, 1977. Inscribed by both authors on flyleaf to journalist and Nixon speechwriter William Safire: "To Bill -- I just want you to move over - here off the list -- Best, Marvin Kalb & Ted Koppel." Koppel added his name to the inscription in blue ink. Kalb's inscription likely refers to President Nixon’s "Enemies List," to which Kalb's name was added after joining CBS to report on the presidency. The list was released in 1973 during the Watergate investigation.
