New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1972. First Edition. Signed typed letter on Eiseley's University of Pennsylvania letterhead to Archibald Hanna, Jr. laid in at front, with Hanna's bookplate on front pastedown.

Archibald Hanna, Jr. was Curator of the Western Americana collection at Yale's Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library. Eiseley's letter thanks Hanna for a recent letter praising his work, and for "a little reprint concerning The Year-Which-Renews-Life" Hanna apparently sent along, possibly the reprint of Gertrude Bonnin's article of the same name originally appearing in a 1930 issue of American Indian Life.
