New York: The John Day Company, 1934. First Edition. Octavo. 64 pages. Black and white illustrations. Lacks dust jacket. A series of humorous letters from Norman to various Government official. Norman, playing the role of the Forgotten Man, begins by writing to the President, gets lost in New Deal government bureaucracy along the way, and ends up in jail.

Berk Anthony was an illustrator for Disney and designed the Sun Devil mascot 'Sparky' for Arizona State University. Sparky is often rumored to be a caricature of Walt Disney.

Illustrated boards are worn and rubbed at edges with some soiling to rear board. Endpapers heavily toned. Ownership inscription on front pastedown reads, "To R.G. Leslie, while a / patient in Mt. Alto Hospital, Washington, DC, / From Ruth Mildred, / his daughter. / July 1, 1935."
