Recently rebacked in brown leather with gilt spine stamping. Original leather of boards now stabilized; traces of gilt edge tooling remain on all boards. Previous owner's initials on front free endpaper of each volume. Faint foxing throughout, more pronounced in immediate vicinity of engraving in Vol III. Volumes I and II are the Odes; Volume III, the Satires; Volume IV, the Letters and the Art of Poetry. "Mediocribus esse poetis non homines, non di, non concessere columnae." Word.
