Inscription on front free endpaper "For Anne with love and appreciation from Blanche" (with previous seller suggesting this was collaborator Blanche D. Coll, but we have not been able to confirm this). Printed dustjacket with original $12.50 price; book in brick cloth with gilt lettering and ornamentation. Jacket is missing spine and tattered along edges with tape repairs holding flaps to front and back panels, and with a small dampstain along spine edge on back. Jacket is now in protective mylar. Boards are clean with light edgewear. Endpapers toned with light foxing. Binding is sound and pages unmarked. Not ex-library.
