London: A. & C. Black, 1925. Octavo; xiv + 269pp + 2 pages of publisher's bound-in adverts, with several inserted additional advertisements. Full-color illustrated dust jacket. Blue cloth with two-color stamped frame, border, and emblem on face; two-color stamped spine lettering with decorative emblems. Unclipped dust jacket is heavily worn and chipped; spine faded with 2" abraded section on top third, and large chip missing at top; part of chip, detached, is still present and held within mylar. Binding spine is faded, with small tears from tugging top and bottom, but stamping still bright and clear. Front hinge weakened but holding; light foxing throughout textblock.

Fifty color illustrations all present. They are all full-color paintings of key stained glass specimens, painted by Lawrence B. Saint with expert photographic detail--and reproduced for the book with the best quality that 1925 color photographic and printing technology could achieve.
