New York: Coward, McCann, 1935. First Edition with no additional printings listed. Signed by the author on front free endpaper with inscription "For Pauline and Cliff -- with friendship -- Thomas W. Duncan." Additional typed letter signed "Tom" in envelope laid in. Dated December 25, 1964 and addressed to the same friends, the Duncan writes covers topics ranging from a magicians convention, political campaigns and buttons, an inauguration invitation from LBJ, Prop. 14 in California (a segregation amendment), and corkscrew collections.

Octavo; 352pp. Illustrated dust jacket with $2.00 price intact; book in burnt orange boards with black lettering. Jacket shows a couple fair-sized chips at head of spine and at bottom back edge (with some loss of text to latter), along with a few shallow tears along edges and some general smudging and scuffing to surface. Boards square but lightly edgeworn, with some foxing to cloth along top edges and down joints. Boards open easily but binding is secure. Pages unmarked.
