Boston: D. Lothrop and Company, 1886. First Edition. Octavo; 83pp. Three illustrations including frontis. Blue cloth-covered boards with mounted illustration and gilt lettering. Boards edgeworn and bumped at corners and spine ends, with chipping at edges of mounted illustration, scuffs and smudges to cloth, and toning along top edge. Rear hinge cracked and opening loosely with some separation showing, but still holding securely by two main stitches. Final plate cleanly separated along gutter but laid in. Pages open easily to between gatherings, but holding. Toning along page edges with a few showing small, clean tears at fore-edge, with no loss.
