Quarto; 265 pp. Tipped-in color frontis with black and white illustrations throughout. Illustrated dust jacket over beige cloth with red lettering. Price-clipped jacket torn along folds with front panel almost fully separated along spine, also with a large chip missing at bottom front with adjacent creasing, smaller chips over corners and spine ends, and number of small tears along edges, with some tape repair to interior. Jacket now in mylar (removed for photo). Boards are square with some toning along edges. Mounted frontis creased along edge from hasty closure, else crisp and secure. Previous owner's name at top of front free endpaper, else pages unmarked. Binding is sound.
Oenslager was a Broadway set designer and teacher of the same at the Yale School of Drama. He won a Tony Award in 1959 for his work on Leonard Spigelgass's A Majority of One.
