Dust jacket has one long vertical scratch on center front, tiny closed tear at top of spine, otherwise very good. Binding spine has slight concave roll. Textblock unmarked, clean and tight in binding.
Leighton completed the text of the volume only a few days before his death in 2001. An authoritative military historian and author, he served as chief historian of the Army Service Forces during World War II.
