Continues to explain that some signatures may have been forged. Five pages of preliminaries covered in signatures. Verbeck was commander of the 21st Infantry Division and Chief of Staff of the 24th Infantry Division in World War Two. He retired at the rank of General and his papers are held at Syracuse University. Verbeck's bookplate to front pastedown of volume II.
