London: Collins, 1954. Revised Edition. Illustrated dust jacket over red cloth with black title square and gilt lettering to front and spine. Octavo; 224pp. Color illustrations throughout. Jacket edgeworn with a few shallow chips and tears, along with some scuffs and smudges to surface and some foxing to inner flaps. Boards are bright and square with nudging to spine ends. Previous owner's name and blind-embossed stamp to front free endpaper. Front and back endpapers foxed, but text is clean and unmarked. Opens easily between a few gatherings, but binding is secure.
