New York: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1926. Very Good / Very Good. Item #11032
New York: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1926. First Edition. Octavo; [vi], 326pp. Illustrated dust jacket; book in red-brown mesh weave cloth with yellow lettering and no topstain to textblock (Currey's C binding, with no priority discernable among the variants). Jacket shows a 1.5" and 2" vertical tear from top along folds on either side of front panel, with a couple shallower tears along edges and some rubbing / chipping at spine ends, toning and some scuffing to spine, and some general smudging to surface. Tape repairs to verso at head and tail of spine along with a bit of red color bleed matching a faint dampstain at top fore-edge corner of back board, but bleed only visible from jacket interior. Boards are sturdy and square with bright lettering. Book opens easily between a few gatherings, but binding is holding soundly. Dust darkening to top of textblock. Pages unmarked.
