[N.p.]: [n.p.], 1841. Very Good. Item #11489

[N.p.]: [n.p.], 1841. Broadside for a program of services commemorating President William Henry Harrison. 11 1/2" x 10". Text in two columns within a simple, heavy black border. Old folds, touch of edgewear and foxing. Overall very good.

The schedule includes hymns, an organ voluntary, a funeral oration, and a dirge. Harrison died just 31 days after his Inauguration, the prevailing theory of the day being his death came from a severe case of pneumonia he caught after his nearly two hour Inaugural Address, though a current theory attributes his death to contaminated drinking water in D.C. at the time.

No copies in retail or OCLC at time of this writing, though WorldCat does show broadside printings of similar programs from April and May 1841 in various towns in Massachusetts.
