Illustrated dust jacket over drab mustard cloth with mounted paper illustration to front board. Jacket chipped at spine ends (a bit of loss to text at tail), with a couple tears along edges and folds, waterspotting variously to all panels, toning down spine, some general smudging to surface, and a puncture at center back (again with some loss to text). Boards show a matching dent at center of back board, with a small chip to cloth at tail and some darkening to spine. Mounted illustration lightly smudged at top but generally bright with good color. Opens easily between gatherings, but binding is holding soundly. Pages a bit toned but unmarked.
Later printing of the First American Edition, initially published in October 1919, with all printings uncommon in the dust jacket.
