Illustrated dustjacket. Dark claret cloth with gilt stamping on spine and front panel. Jacket lightly bumped at corners and spine ends, with corresponding wear to boards. Front board bowing a touch at fore-edge. Binding is sound and pages unmarked.

This is the catalog of the exhibition held at the Telfair Museum of Art in Savannah from 1 October 2009 to 10 January 2010, and traveling afterward to Cincinnati, Grand Rapids, and the Singer Museum in Laren in the Netherlands. Painters exhibited include William Merritt Chase, Robert Henri, George Hitchcock, Walter MacEwen, Gari Melchers, Elizabeth Nourse, John Singer Sargent, and Anna Stanley.
