Tall octavo; 112pp. Green paper over black cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Boards faintly shelfworn with a light bump at top back near spine. Binding is sound and pages unmarked.

Parr's thoughts on museums -- their purposes, management, responsibilities, etc. -- looking back at the end of twenty years as a museum director, first at the Peabody Museum of Natural History and then at the American Museum of Natural History. Parr stepped down from his role to become a senior researcher at the American Museum this same year.
