One of the landmark documents of the Civil Rights Movement, "Letter From Birmingham City Jail" is an open letter advocating for non-violent resistance and civil disobedience, written in response to the "Call For Unity" campaign. Includes the introduction from Colin Bell from the American Friends Service Committee, a Quaker organization which obtained permission from King to publish his letter just a month after it was written.
