Quarto; deluxe publisher's binding of full teal morocco, front cover embossed in gilt, red, blue, and green, gilt-lettered spine in five compartments, housed in custom cloth slipcase; [2],171pp., text printed on versos only; tipped in color frontispiece and additional engraved frontispiece signed in pencil by Pogány, eleven (11) leaves of tipped in plates throughout, forty-six (46) engraved vignettes mounted at head of most leaves of text. Leather a bit scuffed at corners and spine ends, large area of discoloration to front cover, spine and margins toned to tan, very occasional foxing and finger soil to textblock, else a Good to Very Good, sound copy.
Signed by Pogány on colophon and second engraved frontispiece. Additionally inscribed and signed by the artist on title page verso: "Presented to Karin Keith and Eyler Simpson by James S. Kuhne with the best compliments of Willy Pogány / 1930."
