[Fairmont, West Virginia?]: [n.p.], [ca. 1938]. Souvenir folder (6.5" x 4.25"); nine black and white photographs. Leporello binding with folding olive mailer wraps. Covers lightly rubbed at extremities with a few tiny tears and some fading along edges. Photos clean and unmarked. This copy never addressed or mailed.

Mailable photo album of Ray. R. Myers, the Armless Musician featuring images of the musician with his wife, drinking a Coca-Cola, reading a newspaper, playing guitar, combing his hair, writing a letter, and lightly contorting. Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Myers played trombone in his Allentown High School band before taking up the steel guitar. He appeared at the 1933 Chicago World's Fair as part of Robert L. Ripley's first Odditorium but afterword pursued a career in music rather than continuing in the sideshows. In 1937 he began playing on WWVA with Cowboy Loye and later had his own daily show on WPDX in Clarksburg, West Virginia. He died in 1986

A few copies currently in the trade and showing in past auction records, though apparently only one institutional copy via OCLC at the Newberry Library at time of writing, itself slightly varied with additional text announcing Myers' wedding to Miss Eleanor Sturm in December of 1937 and postmarked in Fairmont, WV on April 27th, 1938.
