Octavo; publisher's maroon blind-ruled cloth, gilt-lettered spine; vi,[2],214pp. Faint but large dampstain to cloth at bottom corner of front board, extremities a bit scuffed with brief exposure at spine ends (chipped at head) and corners, light soil to front free endpaper, opens flatly between gatherings with a bit of gap showing at pp. 80-81 but binding holding soundly, textblock a shade toned, contemporary ownership signature (1911) to front pastedown, later (1965) signature to front free endpaper; overall a Good to Very Good copy.
Contents include the original Ancient Greek with English translation on facing page, accompanied by introduction and notes in English.
