Octavo (20cm.); publisher's blue pictorial cloth stamped in gilt; xvi,17-442pp.; sixteen leaves of illus. printed on rectos and versos, color folding map bound in rear, dozens of engravings in text throughout. Cloth sizing rather rubbed at margins, spine panel and gilt quite dulled, some offsetting to endpapers, else Very Good, internally clean and sound overall.
