Bound in contemporary Cambridge-style calf with five compartments to spine and red leather title labels. Contemporary ownership inscription more recent ownership stamp to preliminaries of each volume.

Light rubbing to edges and joints, chip to crown of volume I and brief split to rear joint of volume II. Bindings sound and pages otherwise unmarked.

First two volumes of an five volume set, though the English Short Title Catalogue notes the first two volumes as the work of Echard and the remaining volumes being authored "by one whose person is unknown to me."
