Boards rather worn at extremities with exposure and minor fraying, spine rubbed. Moderate lean to boards but binding holding soundly. Pages foxed. Contemporary scribblings to rear endpapers with what appears to be a couple drafts of a poem to a "Miss Sallie" from "Charlie" dated May 17, 1865.

A well-used but sound copy of this biography of the Swamp Fox, known for his guerrilla warfare tactics in the Revolutionary War.
