Publisher's blindstamped brown cloth with gilt lettering and illustration to spine. Advert endpapers. Boards rubbed with some exposure along edges, spine chipped at head and tail with cracks to cloth starting along joints, and a good bit of soiling and smudging to surface. Spine gilt dulled and largely rubbed away. Small bookplate of an A.L. Wilson on front pastedown, with pencil ownership signature of a J.M. Hoskins of Sioux Rapids, Iowa on front free endpaper. Smudging, occasional light foxing, and some flattened dog-earing to text, but all legible and unmarked. Opens easily between gatherings, but binding is holding soundly.
