Quite uncommon anthology of Revolutionary War sermons by the likes of Jonathan Mayhew, Samuel Langdon, and Samuel Stillman. Publisher's advertisements in rear mention a similar volume about to be published, "embracing the newspaper history of the American colonies, from the year 1750 until the commencement of 1775."
