Printed dustjacket with original $2.50 price; book in green cloth-covered boards with blue title card and gilt to spine. Jacket heavily worn and rippled with extensive brown tape repair to interior and some clear tape to exterior, with some dampstaining and general scuffing and smudging. Boards are square with light bumping to corners and spine ends, along with some toning along edges and some general fading. Abrasions to front pastedowns where jacket was previously taped in place. South Texas Library Rental Library stamp on preliminary and terminal pages including the first and last pages of text, but no other library markings, pockets, or additions. Prior owner's name on verso of front free endpaper opposite half title. Opens easily to between gatherings but binding is sound. Pages toned with a few instances of spotting, but otherwise clean and unmarked. Nabokov's (here spelled "Nabokoff") first book published in the United States, published as Camera Obscura in the UK.
