First Edition. Very Good / Very Good. Item #4168
London: John Murray, 1953. Stated First Edition. Octavo. 285 pages, many still uncut. Green dustjacket; book in green cloth with gilt lettering and facsimile signature. Jacket is corner clipped at bottom of front flap with publisher's price sticker reading "John Murray / £2 / Net," with this sticker crossed out in pencil with a note reading "50p / 1 edge stained" beside.
