Printed dustjackets showing original $4.00 and $4.50 prices, respectively. Book in dark blue cloth with gilt lettering. First volume jacket shows a couple small tears at bottom back with light creasing between; both volumes with a few tears along edges and shallow chipping/tugging to spine ends, along with some toning to spines. Boards are square with light edgewear. Spine backing separating a bit from page block at top, but binding still solid and secure. Front endpapers heavily toned in first volume, with a few spots to fore-edge on the second. Text otherwise bright and unmarked. Not ex-library. Uncommon in dustjackets.
