[Herman and his partner Harold Mays were long-time collectors and dealers of books and antiques, who together ran Two Harolds Antiques in Alexandria, Virginia. ] Illustrated black dustjacket over dark beige cloth-covered boards with green lettering. Price-clipped dustjacket is edgeworn with a few small chips, tears, and nearby creases, along with a few scuffs to face. Boards nudged at spine ends with a stray black mark at front fore-edge and a bit of a cock to spine. Endpapers toning a bit along edges. Binding is sound and pages unmarked. Basis for the 1972 film starring Jon Voight and Burt Reynolds.
