Covers clean with a few tears along edges and some sticker residue on back. Opens easily to between gatherings but binding is sound. Pages a bit toned but unmarked.
Author is credited with gathering recipes from various regions of Italy and helping foster the idea of an Italian national cuisine. Originally published in 1891, the book is filled with recipes and amusing anecdotes, and has become a perennial bestseller in Italy.
