Dust jacket worn at corners and and heavily chipped and frayed at base of spine. Some additional spotting and creasing to jacket. Binding is holding, but gives a little, and is cracked at gutters of title page and page 680. Some white paint has rubbed on to parts of the bottom edges of book. Top edge foxed, but interior is unmarked and clean. This volume includes the articles Marx and Engels wrote for the New American Cyclopaedia, and many works that deal with miitary-historical problems.
