Generally dust soiled and toned with minor staining throughout; all margins creased and chipped but binding intact. Previous owner pencil of true authorship (John Lowell published as "A Yankee Farmer") and contemporary signature "Mr. Hamilton," though not of the founding father, who passed three years before this was published.
A Very Good example of Lowell's plea to the American people to oppose war waged without Congressional or citizen approval, ahead of the War of 1812.
