Publisher's pink cloth with color illustration to front. Boards bumped at corners and spine ends, with some scuffs down joints and a few general smudges and scuffs. 1930 gift inscription in French on full title. Lies flat and opens easily to between gatherings, with a bit of a crack starting down center at p. 56, but binding is holding. Pages toned and occasionally, sparsely foxed, but unmarked.
