Octavo; 102pp. Printed dust jacket with original $6.95 price; book in blindstamped blue paper-covered boards with dark blue cloth spine and gilt lettering. Jacket lightly sunned down spine, else clean and crisp with no chips, tears, or marks. Boards are sturdy and square. Binding is sound and pages unmarked.
In the included letter, Boorstin relates his enjoyment of Safire's Yom Kippur party "which has become one of the great -- now immemorial -- Washington's [sic] institutions."
