Jacket moderately worn and creased along edges, with tape residue on front cover and toning to spine. Boards faded and rubbed along edges with bumping to corners. Binding is sound.
Porter was known for her conversational style in writing of economic or business matters, but wasn't afraid to throw a barb, in one column wondering whether Henry Morgenthau Jr., had been guilty of "obstinacy, stupidity or sheer ill advice" in his management of government bonds.
