Typed letter signed from Berle to Cummings laid in at front in which Berle advises Cummings, "You are in for an interesting, and probably rough, session. It is always good to see you and know what is going on." Additional letter from Berle's Secretary laid in, notifying Cummings that the first copy they'd sent was sent back.
Unclipped graphic dust jacket is heavily rubbed along edges with some light chipping along corners and spine ends. Navy blue boards are stamped in gilt at spine. A touch of wear to edges and some spotting to boards. Spine a bit rolled, but binding is sound. One smudge to fore edge and newspaper clipping taped to rear pastedown. Occasional underlining in text, but interior otherwise clean and unmarked.
