London and New York: Frederick Warne And Co., 1896. Title page states "The 'Albion' Edition." Octavo (19x14cm); 607,  pp. Contemporary goat binding with raised bands and title stamped in gold on spine. All edges gilt. Painting of explicit sexual scene hidden in the fore-edge.
Light wear to edges and joints. Binding is sound and corners are square. Bookplate for Oliffe Richmond on front pastedown and an inscription on verso of front free endpaper states: "Oliffe Richmond from his tutor July 30 - 96. 2nd in school work." Some notes in pencil from previous vendor on front flyleaf. All other pages clean and unmarked.
The original owner appears to have been a 14-year-old Oliffe Leigh Richmond (1881-1977), who would grow to become a poet and classical scholar.
