Very Good / Very Good. Item #6064
Gainesville, FL: University of Florida Press, 1964. First Edition. Quarto. 297 pages with map/glossary endpapers. Black and white photographs. Illustrated black dust jacket with original $8.00 price; book in absurdly bright gold boards with blue lettering to spine. Jacket rubbed and worn along edges with some light chipping, especially at spine ends, and a handful of closed tears. Front board bows a smidge near fore-edge. Binding is sound. Top edge foxed; interior shows some inoffensive staining, but overall is clean and unmarked.
Kendrick had an abiding interest in Florida history, but was also the author of the Duncan Maclain mystery novels. Maclain was a blind private investigator who solved mysteries with his two German shepherds.
