The Furies were a short-lived but influential lesbian separatist group modeled after the Black Panthers and Weathermen. The group maintained that a global revolution could be started by small, local activist groups free from dependence on men. The group operated out of 219 11th St SE, and the house was the first lesbian-related historic landmark in DC.
Pages toned along edges with a small crease at top right corner and some light crimping along bottom edge, but with no tears or marks.
