Alexander James Dallas was the first U.S. Supreme Court Reporter and would later serve as Treasury Secretary under James Madison. This volume covers cases from 1794 to 1799.

Boards are worn at edges with some general light soiling. Some loss to spine labels. Binding is sound with hinges reinforced with cloth tape. Regular library internal markings. Ownership inscriptions to title page and loss of area 2" x 3/4" to front right corner of title page. Pages somewhat toned but legible throughout.
