Three Tall Women [Signed]

New York: Dutton, 1995. Very Good / Very Good. Item #6787
ISBN: 0525939601

New York: Dutton, 1995. First Edition. Signed by the author without inscription on title-page. Octavo; [x] + 110pp. Illustrated jacket. Blue boards with black spine; gilt lettering on spine.

Unclipped dust jacket with very clean edges, flattened partial crease at top edge of back; now in mylar. Top panel edges show very faint sunning; textblock unmarred and unmarked, seemingly unread.

Albee's best (we allow ourselves to pronounce) after Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and A Delicate Balance, rising, in its final lines, to the Beckettian sublime: "I was talking about . . . what: coming to the end of it, yes. So. There it is. You asked after all. That's the happiest moment. When it's all done. When we stop. When we can stop."

Winner of the 1994 Pulitzer Prize for drama.

Price: $125.00
