Very Good. Item #7105
Original inscribed autograph signature "Bucky Fuller" on card mount (20.5x29.5cm.,) to which is affixed a half tone photographic plate printed offset featuring Fuller in 1928 beside a model of his first invention, the Dymaxion House. Date of signature based on the quality of Fuller's hand, the shakiness of the script implying this was produced late in life (Fuller died in 1983 at the age of 87). The signature is additionally inscribed by Fuller but using a different pen "To Bill Fitzgerald." Extremities of mount rather worn, toned, and slightly chipped, with brief ink scribble to top left-hand corner (Fuller's?), else Very Good or better, the signature and inscription quite bold.

"Weighing three tons, selling at 25 cents a pound...deliverable in twenty-four hours, installed and serviced like a phone--it would have been as easily in reach of the average worker's salary as the Model A."
