Boards are worn at extremities with exposure. Some staining and spotting to boards. Binding is sound. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Preliminaries a bit worn and soiled. Pages a bit toned and some smudges in spots, but overall clear and legible.
The author's attempt to record and frame African contributions to civilization. As the author states in his introduction, "This book is intented to convince the youth of the race that there are those things behind them that will give inspiration, aspiration, and hope."
