Price-clipped dust jacket shows traces of staining along top edge and spine is a bit sunned. Boards similarly lightly discolored along top edge. Binding is sound. Bleeding along top edges of preliminaries and final 15 pages, but rest of pages clean and unmarked. Still a very good copy.

Bloom's first book, adopted from his doctoral dissertation from 1956.
