Very Good. Item #8575
London: Willia Heinemann, 1921. First Edition. Small octavo. 103 pages. Beige paper-covered boards stamped in black. No dust jacket.
Of the original print run of 2000 copies, 1500 were printed in wrappers and 500 in boards. The play was written in 1919 and originally performed March 3, 1921.
Boards are worn with brief exposure, general creasing, and a bit of dampstaining along top of spine, though appears cosmetic. Wear to joints and spine toned. Binding holding soundly. Some spotting to preliminaries and a few pencil annotations to latter part of text, but overall pages clean and legible.
