Good / Good. Item #9239
London: Chatto & Windus, 1946. First Edition. Octavo (21cm.); publisher's cloth in brick red dust jacket lettered in white, matching topstain; viii,358pp. Jacket rather worn with a number of long closed tears to extremities, one just touching text, white spine lettering quite toned, flaps and endpapers foxed; cloth corners bumped and upper cover bent; contemporary ownership ex libris of an Elizabeth Trott with her ownership signature also adorning front free endpaper. A Good, albeit rather unlovely copy of one of Huxley's more uncommon essay collections.
