Very Good. Item #9850
New York: The John Day Company, 1931. First Edition. Octavo; 254pp. Beige cloth boards with white and red feather illustration and red lettering. Missing dust jacket. Boards sparsely spotted with some smudging along top edge and darkening to spine. Opens easily between gatherings, but binding is holding soundly. Pages unmarked. Ownership inscription of Frederick F. Van de Water on front free endpaper, though we reckon this is FFVdW III, son of the Custer / William McCoy biographer, as the signature appears to not be a match for the latter.
